heres a question about glass block window panels. we can buy a 24x32 glass block window that is preassembled at any lumber yard.home depot,etc. has anyone had the experence to make the panels them selves?i,ve got the 8x8 blocks and a vent.i.d like to use mortor for the joints and after i,ve made the unit i can install it as a whole panel,just as these can be bought. thanks

Not sure which applies: If you're looking at an actual buck the trim door & frame will have been removed, and you will see holes or protruding studs on each side. The buck faces are flat. Tapcons can be used to affix the new prehung assembly to the buck. Give ample consideration to weather resistance before installation. If this is a conventional wrap around metal jamb (this jamb has a stop & hinge pockets) a prehung door is not the answer. Hang a slab, but ensure you have the correct hinges before proceeding.
